Can I Switch?
Yes β but we recommend giving your current medication a fair chance first. Your body needs time to adjust to GLP-1 medications, and switching too soon or too frequently can make it harder to see results. We generally advise against switching multiple times.
If you've given your current medication adequate time and still feel a switch is right for you, here's how:
To avoid delays or interruptions in your treatment, it is recommended to cancel your current plan and place a new order well in advance of your next refill date. This ensures that the new medication can be approved and processed before your next shipment.
Cancel your current treatment plan
To cancel your existing treatment plan:
Log in to your Belle account via the patient portal.
Navigate to the "Treatments" section.
Select your active treatment plan.
Click on "Plan."
Choose the option "Cancel membership β End subscription."
Confirm the cancellation to finalize the process.
2. Complete a new intake form at apply.joinbelle.com for the new medication
After canceling your current plan, log in to the Belle patient portal. Complete the medical questionnaire, ensuring you indicate your desire to switch medications, and submit your new order for the desired medication through the intake flow in the portal.
3. A provider will review and set up your updated plan
If you are using the updated Belle patient portal, you may need to create a new account before proceeding with the steps above. Ensure all information in the medical questionnaire is accurate to avoid delays in approval.
Important: No Returns on Shipped Medication
Per federal regulations, prescription medications cannot be returned or refunded once shipped. You may continue using your current supply while transitioning, but we cannot exchange or credit it toward your new medication.
Common Reasons to Switch
β’ Your body isn't responding as expected after giving the medication adequate time
β’ You previously had good results with the other GLP-1
β’ Your provider recommends a change based on progress
