Can I get compounded GLP-1 without B vitamins or other additives?

Belle offers additive-free compounded GLP-1 medications in all 50 states for patients with an allergy or sensitivity to B vitamins.

Short answer: Yes.

Belle offers additive-free compounded GLP-1 medications in all 50 states for patients with an allergy or sensitivity to B vitamins.

What does "additive-free" mean?

Most compounded GLP-1 medications include additional ingredients beyond the active drug β€” commonly B vitamins such as cyanocobalamin (B12), pyridoxine (B6), or niacinamide (B3), and sometimes other excipients like preservatives.

Belle's additive-free compounded GLP-1 contains the active medication (tirzepatide or semaglutide) without these added B vitamins or related additives. It's formulated specifically for patients who cannot tolerate standard compounded formulations due to an allergy or sensitivity.

Who qualifies for additive-free compounded GLP-1?

Additive-free compounded GLP-1 is available to patients who indicate a B vitamin allergy or sensitivity on their Belle intake questionnaire. Your clinician reviews this as part of your treatment plan and routes qualifying patients to the additive-free formulation.

Important: Additive-free compounding is a clinical pathway for patients with a genuine B vitamin allergy or sensitivity β€” not a preference-based option.

How do I get additive-free compounded GLP-1?

If you're a new patient: Indicate your B vitamin allergy or sensitivity when you complete your intake questionnaire. Your clinician will factor it into your treatment plan, and you'll be routed to the additive-free formulation from your first prescription.

If you're already a Belle patient and did not indicate a B vitamin allergy during your original intake: Reply here or message your care team through the patient portal, and we'll update your record and coordinate with your clinician.

Is it available in my state?

Yes. Belle ships additive-free compounded GLP-1 to patients in all 50 states through our licensed compounding pharmacy network.

Will it work the same as standard compounded GLP-1?

Yes. The active medication is the same β€” tirzepatide or semaglutide β€” at the same prescribed dose. The only difference is the absence of added B vitamins and related excipients. Clinical outcomes depend on the active drug, not the additives.
