Short answer: No. Your tirzepatide supply is secure, and you do not need to take any action.
On April 22, 2026, BPI stopped compounding tirzepatide. Belle planned ahead for this change. We have months of existing supply on hand and have already onboarded new licensed pharmacy partners, with full coverage across all 50 states.
What changed on April 22, 2026
BPI, one of Belle's pharmacy partners, stopped producing compounded tirzepatide on April 22, 2026. This reflects the evolving regulatory environment for compounded GLP-1 medications after the FDA's 2025 guidance ended broad compounding enforcement discretion for tirzepatide.
This is an industry-wide shift, not a Belle-specific issue β and Belle prepared for it well in advance.
Will my current prescription or shipment be affected?
No. Belle secured supply before the transition, and new pharmacy partners are fulfilling prescriptions. That means:
Orders in progress will continue to ship on schedule
Upcoming refills will be filled by Belle's pharmacy network with no interruption
Your dose, formulation, and protocol stay the same unless your clinician recommends a change
Important: You do not need to request a transfer, resubmit paperwork, or contact your clinician to keep your prescription active. The transition happens automatically on Belle's side.
What to expect over the next few months
Belle has BPI-produced tirzepatide on hand for approximately 2.5 months. During that time, many refills will continue to ship in BPI vials with the familiar BPI label format.
Once the BPI supply is exhausted, all new tirzepatide orders will be fulfilled by Belle's broader pharmacy network. A few practical differences to know about:
Label format may differ β the active medication, concentration, and your dose in milligrams stay the same, but the layout of the label may look slightly different from the BPI version.
Beyond-use date (BUD) will be shorter β most of Belle's current network uses a 90-day BUD (compared to BPI's 9-12 month BUD). Every vial you receive will always have plenty of BUD remaining when it arrives.
6-month plans may ship in multiple smaller packages β because of the shorter BUD, 6-month orders will typically arrive as two 3-month shipments instead of one full shipment. Your total supply and total cost do not change.
These are logistics changes, not clinical changes. Your treatment plan and your prescribed dose remain the same.
Who are the new pharmacy partners, and is quality the same?
Belle works exclusively with licensed, credentialed compounding pharmacies that meet the same quality, sterility, and sourcing standards we've always required. Every new partner was vetted on:
Licensure and regulatory standing
USP 797/800 sterile compounding compliance
Shipping capability (all 50 states)
Your medication comes from a pharmacy held to the same standard you're used to.
Do I need to do anything?
No action is required. If your next shipment is coming from a new pharmacy partner, you'll see an updated sender on your shipping confirmation email.
If you'd like to confirm your next refill date, sign into the Belle patient portal.
