Glutathione is generally very well tolerated. Most side effects are mild and happen at the injection site.

Minor redness, swelling, or tenderness where you injected
Occasional nausea or headaches, especially in the first few weeks

Injection-site reactions are significant, painful, warm, or not settling within a day or two
You notice signs of an allergic reaction such as rash, swelling, or trouble breathing. For breathing difficulty or facial swelling, seek emergency care first
You have asthma and notice any chest tightness or wheezing. Stop and contact your provider right away
