To find the total amount of medication (mg) in your vial:
Check the concentration on the label.
Example: 10 mg/mL means there are 10 milligrams (mg) in every 1 milliliter (mL) of medication.Look at the total volume of the vial.
For example:If your vial contains 3 mL, then you have 30 mg total (10 mg × 3 = 30 mg).
If your vial contains 2 mL, then you have 20 mg total (10 mg × 2 = 20 mg).
