Learn how to properly store your MIC+B12 medication and follow safe usage guidelines to get the most out of your treatment.

What is MIC+B12?

MIC+B12 is an injectable supplement combining Methionine, Inositol, and Choline (MIC) with Vitamin B12. It is commonly used to support energy levels, metabolism, and overall wellness.

Storage Instructions

Keep your MIC+B12 vial stored in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight. Refrigeration is not required. Keep the vial upright and away from light.

General tips:

  • Always check the expiration date before use.

  • Discard the vial if you notice any discoloration, cloudiness, or particles in the solution.

  • Keep out of reach of children.

Usage Guidelines

The Pharmacy Hub recommends administering MIC+B12 via intramuscular (IM) injection only. Subcutaneous (SQ) injection is not advised, as absorption is typically slower and less reliable, which can result in reduced effectiveness and an increased likelihood of side effects. If a subcutaneous injection was administered, the dose should be no more than half of your normally prescribed amount.

  • Always follow the dosage and frequency recommended by your provider. Do not self-adjust your dose.

  • Use a new, sterile needle and syringe for each injection.

  • Rotate injection sites to avoid irritation or tissue buildup.

  • If you miss a dose, contact your provider for guidance β€” do not double up.
