Store sermorelin in the refrigerator between 36 and 46°F, away from direct light. Do not freeze it.
Once reconstituted, use it within the timeframe on your label. Discard any solution that appears cloudy or contains particles.
When your shipment arrives
Your sermorelin arrives packaged with cold packs. Open the package promptly and move the medication to the refrigerator right away.
If your shipment was delayed or arrived warm, contact us before using it.
If your vial shipped from Olympia, it has a small metal center cap that must be removed before your first dose. See "How to remove the metal center cap on your Olympia vial".
When to take it
Sermorelin is usually taken at night, 30 to 60 minutes before bed, on an empty stomach. Your body naturally releases the most growth hormone during sleep, so evening dosing works with that rhythm. Avoid eating for 1 to 2 hours before and after your injection.
A common schedule is 5 nights on and 2 nights off, with the off-nights preferably consecutive. Your exact dose and schedule are printed on your prescription label, and your label is always the one to follow.
Where and how to inject
Sermorelin is injected subcutaneously, just under the skin, not into the muscle. The most common sites are:
The abdomen, at least two inches from the belly button
The outer thigh
The back of the upper arm, if you have someone to help
Rotate your sites regularly to avoid irritation or buildup under the skin, and never inject into the same spot two days in a row.
Starting, stopping and restarting
There is no taper required. You can stop at any time without a gradual wean-off, and simply resume your normal dose if you restart. Benefits may gradually decrease after stopping, so consistency tends to give the best long-term results.
